Arsene Wenger has provided quite a shocking response to Thierry Henry's claims of fan outrage.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has criticised club legend Thierry Henry for trying to suggest that Arsenal fans were at their angriest state ever during Wednesday’s defeat to Swansea City at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners went down 2-1 in a match that could have boosted their hopes of winning the Premier League title for the first time in over a decade. The former Arsenal player wrote in The Sun:

“I have never heard the Arsenal supporters as angry as they were at the Emirates on Wednesday night when their team lost at home to Swansea.”

“They were less patient than I have ever known, booed one of the manager’s substitutions and groaned every time a pass went astray or a tackle was lost.”

But in his response, the French tactician claimed that Henry had no capacity to speak on behalf of Arsenal fans since he sits in the ''best seats of the stadium.’’

He said:

“Thierry Henry has his opinions. He has not found the measurement of the fans' angriness, of 60,000 people, straight away. Because he sits in the best seats of the stadium.”

In his column, Henry added that Spurs were stronger compared to Arsene Wenger’s men. He added:

“They have never had the chance to win the Premier League before and, apart from 2006 when they lost at West Ham on the final day, they have never threatened to finish above Arsenal. But as much as it pains me to say this, there is a real belief in this Tottenham squad that they can finally be the kings of North London this year.”

WATCH: Wenger talks about the upcoming trip to the White Hart Lane:

Arsenal will approach this match with serious injury concerns after their number one shot-stopper Petr Cech and defender Laurent Koscielny were ruled out of the White Hart Lane match. The Gunners must win this fixture in order to revive their hopes of clinching the title. Saturday’s North London derby is expected to be one of the fiercest derbies in England since both sides are gunning for the Premier League title.
