Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has equalled Ronaldinho’s record of 15 goals in La Liga in the last 25 years. The Argentine scored a classy free kick against Sevilla at the Nou Camp on Sunday to equalize for the Catalan giants, who were one goal down thanks to an early opener from Vitolo. Messi’s free kick goal now puts him level with former Barcelona and Brazil great, Ronaldinho.
The 28-year-old has also scored 6 free-kick goals this season, three against his favourite opponent Sevilla, and the other three against Deportivo, Espanyol and Celta de Vigo.

Messi has scored like a half dozen times this season from freekicks!
Sevilla must hate the sight of Messi on a freekick. #fcblive

Is Messi the best freekick-taker in the world right now? Been up there in recent years but on a whole another level this season.

Freekick and passing are Messi's most underrated abilities! Never gets appreciation for those from most people

So about that freekick of Messi...is scoring a freekick in the keeper's corner considered "disrespectful" too?
