Man United manager Louis Van Gaal has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons for the better part of this season, but his touchline dive earlier today showed his other side that many fans did not know about. The Red Devils’ tactician was apparently mocking an Arsenal player who had allegedly thrown himself to the ground in a bid to earn a free kick when the two Premier League giants clashed at Old Trafford.
The thrilling 3-2 win aside, the Dutchman's epic dive sent Twitter into a frenzy, given the fact that the rarely appears on the touchline in the middle of the game. But this time round, he did it in style. His rare appearance next to the fourth official diverted the attention from the pitch, and what followed was a comic dive by the visibly-disappointed manager who was trying to illustrate how the Arsenal player had dived hoping to earn himself a free kick.
