The Chilean wingman hasn't made up his mind about whether he will celebrate a potential goal against Los Blaugranas, given his past performances at Camp Nou

Even after winning six major trophies with Los Blaugranas, Chilean striker Alexis Sánchez will leave any nostalgic feelings back home, since he wants to enjoy the same amount of success with Arsenal.

During an interview with the Daily Mirror, the 2015 Copa América champion revealed he has no regrets about leaving Los Blaugranas to join Arsenal prior to the start of last season. According to Sánchez, leaving Los Culés was the right thing to do.

I never regret my decisions. It wasn’t easy to leave Barcelona. I fulfilled a dream when I moved there, to play in Spain and for the champions, but very few players stay in the same club all their life. To leave is normal.  I wanted a new project, a new experience. And with so many attacking players at Barca it was a good choice to go," Sánchez revealed.

The Chilean ace, who recently returned with the Gunners after struggling with a muscular injury, admitted he will experience an emotional moment when he returns to the Camp Nou on March 16.

"I’m a professional so any match against Barcelona in the Champions League is special to me. I can’t say what my reaction will be if I score, that depends on the moment. But what I can say is that I am grateful to Barcelona for giving me the chance to play in Spain, but now I am at Arsenal and I want to win for Arsenal," Sánchez added.

The former Blaugrana player did not avoid analyzing how difficult it will be for Arsenal to defeat his former team-mates, dismissing the idea of keeping their eyes only on Lionel Messi.

We know it won’t be easy. He’s the best footballer in the world, without a doubt. It’s very difficult to stop him but we will work on it. And remember, Barcelona is not only Leo!" the player concluded.
