Joan Laporta, who successfully led Los Blaugranas from 2003 to 2010, posted a hilarious meme on his Facebook page mocking the Portuguese ace.

Cristiano Ronaldo may have scored against Málaga, but all the headlines and trolls directed at him were created after he missed a penalty kick. One of them remains as a trending topic on social media, and considering where it came from, it's no surprise.

Former Blaugrana president Joan Laporta, who intended to defeat current President Josep Maria Bartomeu last year, posted a picture on his Facebook page, where he mocked Cristiano Ronaldo for missing the spot kick against Los Boquerones. Paraphrasing his quotes from mid-week, the politician made fun of the Portuguese ace with a clever meme.

"I know why I missed that penalty, but I'm not going to say why I did it"

The meme is a clear reference to last Tuesday's press conference, in which Cristiano Ronaldo left fuming after being asked about Lionel Messi's penalty against Celta Vigo. The Portuguese ace implied he knew why Messi chose to "assist" Suárez rather than taking the penalty himself, but he never revealed the answer as he started getting upset.

Joan Laporta won Barcelona's presidential election back in 2003, and he was responsible for the second and third Champions League trophies won by Los Blaugranas. During his stint as President, Barcelona signed household names such as Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o, while giving Pep Guardiola the chance to coach Los Culés without any prior experience.
