Retired Brazilian striker Romario revealed he doesn't believe the two most dominant players of our time have what it takes to be included in such a list.

Legendary Brazilian striker Romario doesn't consider Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo among the top five players to ever play football. In an video revealed by Brazilian website Esporte Ponto Final, the former FIFA World Player of the year revealed a list of five players who he considers to be the best to play the game, and neither the Portuguese nor the Argentine aces were included in it.

Romario's list included Pelé at the top, Diego Maradona as the third-best ever, fellow striker Ronaldo and finally, Real Madrid's coach, Zinedine Zidane. The runner up in this list was none other than himself, and Romario took the time to explain why he chose himself above the rest.

"I believe that I deserve to be included because of my height. I wasn't an athlete, and I ended up winning lots of things," Romario stated.

Romario, celebrating Brazil's 1994 World Cup title against Italy. 'O Baixinho' scored five goals during that tournament.

Romario, who won every major tournament he played with Brazil's National Team, explained that, from his point of view, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi will deserve to be considered among the sport's greatest performers until they win a World Cup.
