Xavi Hernández, currently playing in Qatar, believes both players have what it takes to be successful additions in the near future.

Xavi Hernández keeps himself updated when it comes to talking about his longtime club, Barcelona. In an interview with Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the creative midfielder shared his views on his beloved team, claiming that Juventus' striker Paulo Dybala and PSG's midfielder Marco Verratti have all the credentials to be a part of Los Blaugranas.

"Personally, I like Paulo Dybala and Marco Verratti very much. I think both of them have 'Barça DNA' in them. Their skills and personality are just perfect, and they would adapt very quickly to the team's discipline. I see both of them as Barça players in the near future," the midfielder stated.

The Argentinean striker has been a huge hit during his first season with Juventus, and has stated his desire to play with Lionel Messi in the near future.

On the other hand, one of the most talented midfielders of his generation doesn't believe Juventus' star Paul Pogba would have the same impact with Los Culés.

"He is a very talented player. I've had to deal with him as an opponent, and I'm sure he will stand out with his National Team, but I just don't see him playing like Barcelona does. If he arrived to the team, I'd take him, but I just don't see him as a Barça player right now," Xavi added.

The player born in Terrassa concluded the interview talking about his new life in Qatar, revealing that former Real Madrid striker Raúl and Pep Guardiola played a key role in his decision to play over there.

"Yes, I spoke with both of them, but I spent most of the time talking about it with Raúl. In fact, our house used to be his house. He told me that coming here was a good way to keep playing and start creating a future as a coach. They're developing football over here, and to tell you the truth, he didn't lie about it," Xavi concluded.
