Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov stated that the Brazilian ace will be 'smart enough' and will not choose to leave Los Blaugranas to join Real Madrid.

Considering the amount of rumors surrounding Neymar's future, one of Los Blaugranas' legendary players shared his thoughts on how the Brazilian ace will end up solving them.

Former Blaugrana striker Hristo Stoichkov, who played under Johan Cruyff in the 1992 "Dream Team", believes Neymar will not follow Luis Figo's footsteps by leaving Catalunya and joining Real Madrid next summer.

"I believe Neymar will win the Ballon D'Or while playing for Barcelona, he won't be another 'Judas'. He seems like a smart guy, and he knows this is the team he needs to play for," Stoichkov told Esports Cope.

Stoichkov scored 84 goals in 175 games for Los Blaugranas back in the '90s.

The retired player, who currently works as a pundit for Univision, also shared his views about La Liga's title race. According to the Bulgarian legend, it would be quite shocking if Barcelona ends up losing the title against Real Madrid or Atletico.

"We have a four-point lead, and there's also a game in hand. That's a big advantage. I think that in the end we will end up winning the league. Considering how the team's playing, it's just a matter of time," Stoichkov added.

The 1994 Ballon D'Or winner, who turned 50 on Monday, will be celebrating his birthday with a friendly match to be held in Bulgaria. During that match, some of his old Dream Team pals are set to join him, including Pep Guardiola and many more.
