Major League Soccer’s appeal and popularity continues to grow, and they have the former kings of European football to thank, Brazilian ace Kaka being one of the top.
The former AC Milan and Real Madrid superstar joined the North American football franchise from the Rosonneri in 2014 was terminated through mutual consent, but made his debut for current employers Orlando City in February 2015.

Since then, the 33-year-old has enjoyed an eventful year with the MLS newcomers, making 28 appearances, scoring 9 goals and racking up 7 assists along the way, whilst picking up 6 yellows and even a red card.
The Selecao ace, though not a central figure in the national setup as before, is a huge attraction for football, or soccer, in the United States. This is exemplified by the fact that he is the league’s highest paid player in history, with a $6.6m-per-year wage.
MLS have celebrated Kaka’s contribution by compiling a video of his best goals, assists, and skills in 2015. Watch the video below.
With the 2016 season, Kaka has yet to feature in an Orlando City jersey since October 25, but expect a lot from the last man that is not Messi or Cristiano to win the Ballon d’Or next season.
