Liverpool will welcome Sunderland to Anfield on Saturday, the 6th of February in a Premier League encounter. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Liverpool vs Sunderland.

The Reds come into this match at the back of a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Leicester City and will be looking to bounce back when they face a Sunderland side which has managed just a single victory in their last five matches.

The Reds have been struggling as of late in the league having managed just a single victory in their last five Premier League outings, having conceded 12 times during the process.

Simon Mignolet  who did well to deny Shinji Okazaki and Riyad Mahrez in the first half was left helpless as Jamie Vardy hit a wonder strike. The 29 year old struck within ten minutes to double Leicester's lead and condemn Liverpool to their eighth league defeat this season. Belgian international Mignolet  has claimed that his side lacked creativity during the mid-week encounter.

"You can always score a goal on the counter so we were in the game still at half-time, which was positive," the 27-year-old said.

"Unfortunately we didn't manage to create the chances we wanted to or score a goal. The end product has not been there.

"We didn't create enough chances to score a goal and when you play this Leicester side away from home you have to make chances to put them under pressure."

The Belgian is however keen for his team to bounce back and is aiming for all three points when the Reds host Sunderland.

"The game is played, you can't really change anything anymore, so the only thing you have to do is learn from the mistakes you made and take the positives into the next game.

"When we play at home against Sunderland we have to take the three points."

The Black Cats come into this match after a valiant performance against Man City, however they were unable to acquire any points for their efforts. Sunderland will however take confidence from their previous outing and will be looking to pull an upset at the expense of Liverpool.
