With top Premier League clubs chasing the English International, the Foxes will give the striker a hefty raise to keep him around.

Jamie Vardy will have his reward after an amazing season with Leicester City.

The current Premier League top scorer will sign a new deal that will guarantee a wage increase of 20,000 pounds a week, and will also have him playing at King Power Stadium until the summer of 2019.

Vardy started negotiations for a contract extension back in December, as top clubs such as Chelsea and Liverpool tried to lure him away from the current EPL leaders. As the Foxes get ready for a crucial three-game span in which they could confirm their chances of winning the Premier League title, Vardy's future with the team is assured for the next three seasons.

The 29-year old striker has scored 16 goals for Leicester City and has earned four England caps under coach Roy Hodgson. Vardy set a new Premier League record back in November, when he scored at least one goal in eleven consecutive games, breaking Ruud Van Nistelrooy's previous effort.

According to The Guardian, his new contract will also include a clause which will grant Vardy a bonus if the Foxes finish the season among the top four spots, which will give them access to the 2016-2017 UEFA Champions League.

Vardy's rise to fame has even gathered interest from Hollywood, with a possible biopic in the making.
