Arsenal and Southampton continue their particular quests for the ongoing Premier League season when they face each other at Emirates Stadium. Chilean forward Alexis Sánchez could return to the team's lineup for the first time in nine weeks, having dealt with a muscular injury. Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Santi Cazorla will have to sit this one out, while the Gunners expect Mesut Özil's contribution up front. The German midfielder enjoyed a particularly great first half of the season with 16 assists to his name, but he went all through January's games without a single pass ending into the back of the net.

Southampton
Ronald Koeman's crew has bounced back in the Premier League standings after a three-game winning streak. The Saints seem to have found the drive that made them one of the most entertaining teams from last season, and they will surely want to prove it when they meet the Gunners.
Despite a number of absences due to injury, things seem to be looking up for Southampton, as new boy Charlie Austin seems to be ready to start his first game for the club after scoring a late winner against Manchester United last week.
