Following their disappointing 0-0 draw with West Ham United in their FA Cup fixture on Sunday, Liverpool fans were not impressed by one player in particular; Christian Benteke. The Belgium international has failed to rediscover his previous lethal form that saw him tear past defenders at will while playing for Aston Villa.
He even missed two clear chances in the second-half, something that would have given the hosts a 2-0 win over the Hammers at Anfield. A section of disappointed Liverpool fans took to social media to air their frustrations at the performance of the 25-year-old. Astonishingly, some fans went as far as comparing him with the bad boy of football, Mario Balotelli, who is on loan to AC Milan from Liverpool.
