Recently signed midfielder Arda Turan has a short temper, and that hasn't been overlooked by some of his new team-mates.
The player, who penned his contract with Barcelona last summer but was able to play with Los Blaugranas until this month, stated in a radio show that some of his team-mates prefer not to joke with him, but the reason they have to respect might sound a bit curious.
"Inside the team's dressing room, nobody makes jokes at me because they're afraid I'll throw shoes at them."
The Turkish midfielder is well remembered by his on-the-pitch antics while playing for Atletico, when he chose to throw a shoe at a linesman for not giving a foul for his team.

Later in that radio show, Arda described the MSN attack as three of the best players he's had the pleasure of working with.
"Messi is very quiet, but everyone knows he is the boss. Luis Suárez is a joker, and Neymar is simply my brother," Turan stated.
The Turkish midfielder has played only one La Liga game with Barcelona, but he managed to make himself felt by dishing out two assists.
