Former Arsenal man Emmanuel Eboue has revealed that he would love to rejoin the North London club.

The 32-year-old is now a free agent after partying ways with Turkish giants Galatasaray last season. He spent seven years with the Gunners between 2004 and 2011.

The Ivory Coast international mostly featured as a right-back for the Gunners but failed to impress the fans due to his costly mistakes at the back. One such a moment was back in 2008 when he was introduced by Arsene Wenger as a substitute but the club’s fans booed him off.

Eboue played 214 games for Arsene Wenger’s side and had a promising first season at Galatasary. However, after the introduction of Cesare Prandelli and Hamza Hamzaloglu at the helm of the Turkish club, the former Arsenal man did not make any appearance for his new employees and was released later on as a free agent.Eboue wants to return to Arsenal Speaking to The Sun about the incident, he revealed:

“I came back for training [at Galatasaray] and was told I would not be playing.''

“The president told the manager at the time no to pick me. The way I was treated was very unfair.''

“We are looking for options but I’d love to come back to Arsenal.”

It would be interesting to see if Wenger would love to give him another chance at the Emirates Stadium considering the fact that he will not cost the club any penny. At a time like this when the English giants seem to have one hand on the EPL trophy, maybe a little bit of reinforcements at the back would be necessary.
