The German international believes the club has what it takes to win at least one title by the end of the season, including the UEFA Europa League.

After signing a contract extension last year, star wingman Marco Reus wants some of his team-mates to do the same, in order to provide the club with new trophies in the near future.

Reus wants Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ilkay Gundogan and Mats Hummels to stay with the yellow-and-black side even if there are a number of Premier League sides desperate to add them to their rosters. The German International believes that the team needs to keep them if they want instant success.

"If you want to be on top, you have to invest in the team. We as players want to go to the very top and the club also wants that. There is no doubt that we can keep these players and bring in other good players. I am relaxed about this,"Reus said.

Being deemed as one of the most talented players in the world, Reus wants to back those claims by adding a trophy to the team's cabinets. Particularly, the wingman has his eyes set on the DFB Pokal title, which has evaded the team in the past couple of seasons.

"I hope to win a title this season. We are already often in Berlin for the German Cup final but unfortunately we have not managed in the past two years to bring home the trophy. We will do our utmost that this time we succeed," the player added.

Reus also spoke about the team's chances of winning the Europa League. With such top contenders as Manchester United and Sevilla, the German international believes Borussia Dortmund can end up taking the trophy home.

"In the Europa League, we have to show a different side. But we are Borussia Dortmund and one of the favorites even if the next opponent is a Champions League regular in Porto," Reus concluded.

Borussia Dortmund will restart the Bundesliga season after the winter break eight points away from current leaders Bayern Munich this Saturday, when Thomas Tuchel's crew faces fourth-placed Borussia Moenchengladbach.
