Liverpool have identified a couple of star players in the transfer market to boost their squad this season.

Premier League giants Liverpool are plotting a daring move for former Manchester United star Javier Hernandez, famously known as ‘Chicharito’ as reported by The Telegraph

The 28-year-old Mexico international has been in sensational form for Bayern Leverkusen after being dropped from Luis Van Gaal’s squad at Old Trafford. Chicharito had a disappointing loan spell at Spanish giants Real Madrid, where he mostly came in as a substitute in the dying minutes of each game. However, since moving to Germany for £7.3 million, he has scored 19 goals in 25 appearances for Leverkusen. Asked about a possible move out of the Bay Arena this summer, he revealed:

"We'll see you never know what happens."

Meanwhile, Klopp has also been linked with a move for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew, who has been a long-time admirer of Liverpool, and Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze this summer. Gotze’ contract expires next year but the Bundesliga giants are reportedly not keen on offering him a new deal.
