A Stamford Bridge exit is on the cards for the Chelsea ace, but could the Real Madrid target opt against a move abroad?

Chelsea ace Eden Hazard looks destined to leave the Blues next summer, if transfer speculations were to be whole-heartedly believed.

It has been 8 months, yes, 8 long months since the Belgian ace scored in the English Premier League. In other words, the 25-year-old last found the back of the net in the English top-flight 30 matches (2289 minutes) ago during the London giants’ title-winning season.

This is an alarming drop in form for a man who was named PFA Player of the Year last campaign, who in the words of former boss Jose Mourinho outperformed Cristiano Ronaldo.

This, accompanied by his fallout with the sacked Special One, has many tipping Hazard with a summer exit, with Real Madrid favorites to land the former Lille man.

Although The Telegraph reports that Eden will wait on his current employers to appoint a permanent boss before deciding on whether to leave or stay, newly-appointed Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is working hard to lure the Belgian to the Bernabeu.

But Les Merengues face stiff competition. According to The Star, rivals Man United have emerged as candidates to sign Hazard.

The Red Devils came achingly close to signing Eden from Ligue 1 before Chelsea’s Champions League success in 2012 saw the Belgian opt for a move to London.

Now, however, with the chances of Louis Van Gaal's dream target Gareth Bale leaving Real Madrid all but zero, the Old Trafford side are focusing on the Blues’ number 10, plotting a £65m bid.

This move, though, stands little chance of going through, with Chelsea rarely selling to a rival clubs of the same league, and with the Red Devils preparing a bid way below the Blues' £90m Eden Hazard price tag.
