Europa League: Borussia Dortmund’s Klopp Keen To Face ‘Monster’ Sevilla

Borussia Dortmund vs Sevilla comes up tonight in the UEFA Europa League. This match means first vs last in Group J, and Coach Klopp can’t wait for it to start.

Borussia Dortmund's Juergen Klopp is confident ahead of the Sevilla UEFA Europa League match. The Coach is keen to lead his team into battle.

The Borussia Dortmund manager spoke to the club’s official website. He analyzed Sevilla’s current situation and also talked about his team’s preparations as he stated in the interview:

“Sevilla have had the most success in Europe lately. They have the most experience. They also play in the league of the World Cup champions [Spain], and they have quality individuals in their lineup.

“In our group, they are the absolute ‘monster’. When I say this, I mean it in a positive way. There must be some pressure on the kettle if a coach is sacked when the team is seventh in the [La Liga] table.

“Probably, Sevilla will start with two strikers. But also, they might chose a defensive formation.

 

“We were lucky to watch a game of their new coach at the end of our Mallorca trip last season. When you prepare for an opponent, you know how they do things. But, with a new man at the helm, I think it’s a different story,” Coach Juergen Klopp explained as he shared a few thoughts about Sevilla’s managerial issues.

“It’s good to know that Borussia Dortmund are in good shape against Sevilla. Hopefully, the match will be good. We will be prepared as much as possible and we’re looking forward to the game.”
