Rudi Völler, the team's Sports Director, dismissed the club is interested in selling one of the most in-form players in the squad.

Mexican striker Javier Hernández will not be involved in any transfer this winter.news anytime soon. According to Die Werkself's Sporting Director, Rudi Völler, the team is not interested in selling their most prolific striker despite rumors linking "Chicharito" with a couple of top Premier League clubs.

Hernández has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season, earning him the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for November and December.

"We are a football club and it is important that we are successful. Chicharito has played a big part in our success so far, through his style of play, through his goals. That's why we brought him here. In the first half of the season, everything has worked out fine.  It's easy to reject offers when you are in a position in which you don't need to sell," Völler stated.

The 1990 World Cup winner with Germany signed "Chicharito" on Transfer Deadline Day from Manchester United, where coach Louis Van Gaal told him he would not be enjoying enough playing time. After such a fine performance with the German side, Hernández was rumored to be joining Arsenal this winter, with the Gunners willing to spend 25 million to sign him.

Nevertheless, Hernández could not be able to play for Arsenal this season, since FIFA's rules forbid a player to perform for three different teams in a single season. "Chicharito" played three games for Manchester United before his transfer, making him ineligible to play for the current Premier League leaders.
