Sergio Aguero would love to partner with Lionel Messi at Manchester City.

Manchester United forward Sergio Aguero has admitted that he would love to see Messi join Manchester City. Although he confessed that Leo would be a great addition to City, he also admitted that his chances of leaving Barcelona are very slim. For the better part of this season, the English Premier League giants have been linked with a possible move for the Argentine legend but speaking to Omnisport (via Goal.com), Aguero was doubtful about the possible switch from Spain to England.

He explained:

''If he wants to come here (Man City), let him come!’’

He added:

''It’s very difficult for Leo to leave Barcelona, because he’s played there since he was very young and it’s not easy for him to think about another team. So no… hopefully he can be here at City obviously, but of course it’s always the player’s decision and I think he’s very comfortable and very calm in Barcelona.’’

Many fans of Man City would love to witness the partnership of international teammates Messi and Aguero at the Etihad Stadium but for now, the much-publicized transfer seems to be a dream that is yet to hatch.

The football god has won four Ballon d’Or awards, four Champions League titles and seven La Liga trophies with the Catalans.
