Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed his next preferred job.

Mourinho has reportedly told his agent Jorge Mendes that he would love to coach England national team if Roy Hodgson leaves next summer. Jose was sacked by club owner Roman Abrahmovic after a run of poor results that saw the reigning Premier League champions languish at the bottom of the table, just two points off the relegation zone, for the better part of the first-leg of the season.

However, despite the poor start and losing his job at the Stamford Bridge, the Portuguese tactician has a solid reputation, having won  the Premier League with Chelsea and the Champions League with FC Porto and Inter Milan.

Initially, after losing his job with the Blues, he was tipped to replace the embattled Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford. Since then, the rumors of his possible move to United are now losing momentum.

The former Real Madrid boss is reportedly happy with his family in England and has no intentions of settling out of the country. This explains why he allegedly turned down AS Roma’s job request earlier this month, consequently sparking more rumors of his impending move to Man United.

The Mirror reports that the 52-year-old has his eyes set on managing England if he fails to secure the Red Devils job. England have had an impressive qualifying campaign ahead of the Euro 2016 but failed to impress against big teams, most notably during the international friendly against Spain. To save the sleeping giants from a possible embarrassment at the Euro 2016, England could sack Roy, hence paving way for Mourinho.
