On Boxing Day, we take a look back at how some of the biggest names in football enjoyed the festive period.

Christmas may have past, but the festive mood remains in the air, with many spending leisure time with friends and family, unless you are an English Premier League star.

Stars of the world of football enjoyed December 25th, some attending quite dinners with family, others partying, with many jetting back home for a few days rest before it’s back to business.

With Saturday being Boxing Day, play resumes in the English top-flight, with each team playing 3 games between the 26th and January 3.

In Serie A, play resumes on January 5th of 2016, in Spain it’s on December 30. In Germany, players and coaches alike are on a break until January 22.
