Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has identified his first transfer target when he joins Manchester United.

According to The Sun, the Portuguese tactician believes that Galatasaray’s Wesley Sneijder has what it takes to boost Manchester United’s midfield. Mourinho is expected to take over at Old Trafford in January if the current boss, Luis Van Gaal, is fired. Wesley Sneijder in action for Galatasaray

Reports in England also suggest the Premier League giants have already signed a five-year deal with the former Inter Milan, Real Madrid and FC Porto boss to keep him at the club until 2021.

Sneijder, 31, played under Mourinho at Serie A giants Inter Milan and won the Champions League together back in 2010. The duo are set to reunite at Old Trafford next year to help the struggling Red Devils get back to greatness for the first time ever since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.
