It seems Gerard Pique is not the type to keep matters to himself especially when his side is winning major trophies.

Earlier today, after winning the FIFA Club World Cup with Barcelona in Japan, the Spain international revisited his feud with Real Madrid player Alvaro Arbeloa and Real Sociedad’s Estaban Granero, formerly of Real Madrid. The Barca centre-back tweeted 25 trophy emojis and added the caption, ''For my superiors.’’

Here is the tweet:

He was referring to an earlier tweet by Esteban Granero, warning him to respect his superiors. Granero’s tweet was accompanied by a photo of Arbeloa posing with the Champions League trophy.

Pique has been criticised countless times by a section of Spanish media for mocking Los Blancos players in the recent past. The 28-year-old has also been booed several times at the Santiago Bernabeu by Madrid fans, most recently during international matches when in action for Spain. Judging from the latest war on Twitter between the two stars, fans and pundits are gearing up for more drama ahead.
