The Mexican striker became the first footballer from his country to score three goals in the same game in the Bundesliga. He has scored ten goals this season.

Javier Hernandez just needed more time on the pitch to show his true skills. Today, "El Chicharito" scored the first hat trick for a Mexican player in Bundesliga history, snapping Borussia Mönchengladbach's ten game unbeaten streak.

Coach Roger Schmidt decided to start the game with both "Chicharito" and Stefan Kiessling up front, and this move proved to be crucial for Die Werkself, as the German striker scored with a couple of headers and handed out two more assists for the former Manchester United striker.

But this was Chicharito's night to shine. With the game 1-0, Kiessling & Hernández teamed up to score the second goal for the hosts. Kiessling's back heel flick was crucial for the Mexican's first goal.

Chicharito's second goal came after Kiessling tried to dribble on the left flank, sending the ball to the middle. Hernández controlled the ball and unleashed a rather strange shot, scoring from outside the box.

Finally, and after having an argument on the pitch during their game against Barcelona, Karim Bellarabi dished out the final assist for Chicharito to score his hat trick.

Considering that his former team lost to a recently promoted side today, fans hailed Chicharito while they trolled Louis Van Gaal and the Red Devils. Here are some of their best comments.
