Fenerbahce will be playing the 200th game in a UEFA-sanctioned competition. Celtic has nothing to lose in this game since they are already eliminated.

After five games all teams approach the final group stage game and Fenerbahce still has something to fight for, while Celtic may have only done the trip to ruin a party. The Turkish side will be celebrating its 200th match in a UEFA competition and hope to do it with a win that could make them Group A leaders.

Fenerbahce's Preview

Fenerbahce currently sits in second place with eight points, two behind Molde and the same amount ahead of Ajax. A win would secure them a spot in the next round and a draw would also let them advance unless Ajax wins its game. The goal differential currently gives an advantage to Feberbahce (+1) over Ajax' (+/-0).

Since their 2-2 draw with Celtic in the second game of the group stage, Fenerbahce has not conceded a goal in three games. The history also tells that Fenerbahce should be advancing to the next round as they have done so in their past three attempts.

The Turkish side has scored six goals in five games. At the same time, Celtic, who is already out of the competition has found the back of the net more times that their next opponent (7). Fenerbahce has two wins, two draws and a loss, while Celtic has yet to win a game with three losses and two draws so far.

Simon Kjaer and former Manchester United star Nani will not be availiable for this match due to suspensions. The status of Robin van Persie going into this game is undecided and will be a game-time decision. Raul Meireles and Hakan Cinemre are out with injuries for Fenerbahce.

Celtic's Preview

Celtic has shown they can score goals, but it has been their defense, what has given them few chances to win games. The team has conceded 11 goals so far. Two of their losses have come against Molde by 3-1 and 1-2 respectively. With both Ajax and Fenerbahce, this team has been able to draw in at least one game.

The Scottish team came into the competition as the champion of the Scottish Premiership league. As they have no chance to make it to the next round, they hope that they can wrap up their participation here with a win and could possibly destroy their opponents chances to qualify for knockout stages.

The visitors will do not have any players suspended for this game, but Scott Brown, Charlie Mulgrew and Saidy Janko will not be participating in this match due to injuries they have been dealing with for a long time. Kris Commons and James Forrest are finally back in the roster after recovering from their respective injuries.

For Celtic Glasgow, this is a game where pride is the most important thing. As they are one of the ten league champions in this competition, they hope that they can wrap up their bags and go home with a win. They hope they learned something from last time when they were leading 2-0 and could not hold on to the win.

The game will be played in Şükrü Saracoğlu, Istanbul. This venue is close to 3,000 kilometers from Celtic's home ground. On paper, this could be a close game, we will just have to wait and see what happens on the field.
