Wendt, Stindl and Johnson ended Bayern's unbeaten run in the domestic tournament. Franck Ribery scored Bayern's only goal of the day.

Since Pep Guardiola took over Bayern's coaching duties, Die Roten haven't struggled to win most of their games. Today, Borussia Moenchengladbach gave Pep's crew a reality check, by handing them a tough 3-1 loss.

Oscar Wendt, Lars Stindl and Fabian Johnson scored three goals in less than 12 minutes to shock the Bundesliga champions for the first time this season. Bayern Munich had only lost against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League, while only allowing one draw in the domestic tournament.

Perhaps the only good note for Bayern came thanks to Franck Ribery, who played his first match since March, and finished off the game with his first Bundesliga goal.

"Massive celebration by Borussia. Pep's "demon" won against them twice this year and snapped their unbeaten streak today."
