Liverpool could clinch their ticket to the next round with a win and possibly the lead of Group B. Bordeaux has not won any of the four games played so far.

Liverpool and Bordeaux will meet again in the Europa League, but this time in the territory of the Reds, at Anfield. After a 1-1 draw in day one of the competition, these two teams have not had solid performances, but they still have a chance to get into the playoffs of the 2015-2016 Europa League.

Jurgen Kloop's team is still undefeated after four games. With three draws and one win, the team from England hopes that by adding three more points in this match they can clinch their ticket to the next round. At the same time, they would hold a chance to become group leaders if FC Rubin beats FC Sion.

Liverpool has scored one goal in each or their four games and was able to keep their net clear in the game against FC Rubin while playing on the road. The English side is behind FC Sion in goals scored and they are tied with both Sion and Bordeaux in goals received.

In case that Bordeaux beats Liverpool today by two goals, they will both be tied with a goal differential of +1. With one game to go, that would be crucial and in favor of Bordeaux. In the end, if they are tied with the same amound of goals scored and received, today's win could make the difference in favor of the French side.

The Reds don't have any suspended players, they do however, have a list of seven players that will be out due to injuries. Coutinho, Gomez, Henderson, Ings, Randall, Rossite and Sakho have not been included in the list of available players for this match.

Despite all their absences, they have been undefeated in their last six games (all competitions included), including a 4-1 win against Manchester City in the Premier League. With the return of Daniel Sturridge to the active roster, Klopp sees a very good chance of a positive result at home against Bordeaux.

The French side has only won one of their last four games. While playing on the road in the Europa League, they have yet to know what it is like to win and even lose. Both of their games away from home have ended in a draw.

Bordeaux is not too good playing against English teams. In the last 11 games against a team from the EPL, they have only won one, lost seven and drew the other three. If they lose today, their chances to make it past the group stage will vanish, as no team will be within a three-point reach.

Midfielder Wahbi Khazri will not be included in the list of available players for this game as he has been suspended. Maurice-Belay and Ounas are also out of the game against Liverpool but because of medical reasons.
