The Chile international has been instrumental for Arsenal this season but he is suffering from a hamstring injury despite his stellar performances.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will not rest Alexis Sanchez, as least for now, despite suffering from a hamstring injury. According to The Mirror, Sanchez has been complaining of a muscle injury for the past few days but the French tactician hears none of it.

The 26-year-old joined the English club from La Liga giants Barcelona for £35 million. The newspaper also reports that Wenger is facing an injury crisis at the club and does not want to rest some of his key players for fear of losing crucial matches both in the Premier League and Champions League. The Gunners travel away to Norwich City this weekend in their Premier League fixture and face a busy Christmas period.
