The Portuguese ace threw a jibe at his ex ahead of Saturday’s Clasico.

“Ronaldo”, the movie that followed Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for a good portion of a year, was released earlier this month, and dealt with a wide range of issues regarding the attacker’s life.

His son, his career, his personal life: nothing was off the table. However, there was one key absentee from the film, and that was ex Irina Shayk.

The filming of the movie began while the Portuguese ace and the Russian model were still an item, yet she failed to make a single appearance.

According to reports coming out of Spain, the 30-year-old three-time Ballon d’Or winner was asked why Shayk fails to feature in his movie, with the former Man United winger saying:

"Life has good and bad parts, and there are parts of one’s life that are not important."

Ronaldo and Shayk called it quits in January of this year, shortly after Cristiano’s 2014 Ballon d’Or triumph, putting an end to their five-year relationship.

Their split was seen as a decisive factor to the Real Madrid ace’s dip in form last season, one which saw Los Blancos finish the season trophy-less.

Ronaldo, despite being linked with several beauties since the split, has only recently been rumored to be in a serious relationship, reportedly with Marisa Mendes, the daughter of his manager Jorge Mendes.

The four-time Golden Boot recipient, having been given a break from the latest international break, will return to the field on Saturday when Rafael Benitez’s crew host La Liga leaders Barcelona in El Clasico.
