Two of the German Bundesliga's struggling sides will clash this Saturday, when Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen fight to end their respective winless streaks. While Armin Veh's side has been able to add a couple of points to their tally, Roger Schmidt's crew will make a run for three points after two consecutive losses against Wolfsburg & FC Cologne.
Both teams have failed to find consistency during the current Bundesliga season, but their lack of balance may end up being the main reason for fans not to miss this game, since these are two teams that can put up quite a show for those who watch the game at Commerzbank Arena and around the world.
Eintracht Frankfurt
Following a couple of draws facing the almighty Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim, Armin Veh's men will try to make the most out of Die Werkself's struggles when playing away from their home field. In order to do that, midfielder and team captain Alexander Meier could be a game changer for the hosts, given his performances throughout the season. Meier leads Die Adler with five goals this season, and certainly his coach would appreciate it if he could add up to that number.
If Meier's form wasn't enough reason to watch the game, Stefan Reinartz will have a special feeling when he walks into the pitch, as he revealed earlier this week.

Coach Armin Veh will not have four players available: Anderson, Sonny Kittel and Marco Russ will miss the game due to different injuries, while Swiss Haris Seferovic will have to sit this one out after picking up his fifth yellow card this season during the Eagles' last match.
Bayer Leverkusen
With a lot of talent up front, Roger Schmidt's side needs to show why they were considered as one of the top candidates for European competitions this year, and they must add three points to their tally in order to keep their chances alive. With Karim Bellarabi and Admir Mehmedi in charge of creating chances for the club's strikers, Schmidt will have the option to start Javier "Chicharito" Hernández as the go-to guy. The former Manchester United striker is currently enjoying one of the best streaks of his career, as some are starting to wonder if Louis Van Gaal was right about letting him go.
Roger Schmidt will not have four players available, including Chilean Charles Aranguiz, Roberto Hilbert and Tin Jedvaj due to injury. Furthermore, during the Aspirins' last match, Kyriakos Papadopoulos was sent off, so he will add his name to those who will watch the game from the stands.
Head to head
If you consider these team's last six matches, there is no clear pattern between them. Eintracht Frankfurt leads by a narrow margin, winning three games against Leverkusen, drawing one and losing two more. Out of Die Werkself's last three visits, the hosts have collected two wins while letting one more slip away. Curiously enough, Bayer Leverkusen outscored Eintracht Frankfurt in those games (8-7).
