The South American players revealed to their team-mates they would rather not return to the French capital after an incendiary device was detonated outside Stade de France.

After last Friday's terrorist attack in Paris, some players are not convinced about working there anymore. Two of those players are South American footballers David Luiz and Edinson Cavani, who openly stated that, if the decision was left up to them, they would not return to Paris to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

One of Cavani's team-mates with Uruguay, midfielder Alvaro Gonzalez, revealed that the player told them he would rather play elsewhere, given the recent violent incidents registered at the French capital.

"It's just sad, for the world and for football itself. We were talking about it in the dressing room, and Cavani told us that David Luiz was thinking about not going back there. Furthermore, Edinson told us that he was on the same page, that if it was up to him, he'd rather not return to Paris," Gonzalez revealed.

The Brazilian defender also shared his thoughts about the incident, revealing his first actions when he heard about what had happened.

"I called my girlfriend and my friends just to make sure they were OK. Everyone's pretty sad and frightened. I just feel sorry for the French people. I hope God helps those who lost someone they loved," the center back stated.

Despite revealing to his inner circle that he was not keen on returning to the French capital, David Luiz informed his fans he was back with the team earlier today.

This is Cavani's third season with Les Parisiens, where he has played 113 games and scored 65 goals. Nevertheless, he has been constantly linked to a move away from the French capital. On the other hand, David Luiz joined Ligue 1's champions last season, playing 54 games so far for Les Rouge-Et-Bleu and scoring four goals.
