Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao could be on his way out of the English club.

Reports from London suggest that the former Manchester United forward will move to Valencia, after a disappointing season and a half in England. Falcao, who is on loan to Chelsea from Monaco, could be on his way to Spain as early as January next year. Chelsea are reportedly willing to terminate the contract of the Colombian striker due to his unimpressive form at the Stamford Bridge.

Although one might argue that Jose Mourinho’s men are equally struggling to regain their form that saw them win the Premier League last season, Falcao’s individual performance has not been anything worth writing home about during his stint with the Red Devils and the Blues. The 29-year-old has since become a pale shadow of himself and a move to Spain could redeem his career. Despite earning £145,000 a week at Chelsea, his performance has been below average. Here are some of the reactions on Twitter regarding the suggested move to Spain.

At Chelsea, the embattled striker only managed to score once in his last 9 appearances for the English club, with 10 shots on target. But during his first season in La Liga with Atletico Madrid, the once-feared goal-poacher netted 70 times in two seasons, an achievement that earned him a place in the list of the world’s deadliest strikers. Los Che are hoping to help the misfiring player recover his lost glory and find his way back to greatness by offering him a lucrative deal.
