The latest reports from the transfer market reveal that Lewandowski could be on his way out of Bayern Munich.

Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are looking at the possibility of signing the talented forward in January, according to the player’s agent. Lewandowski has been on top form for the Bavarians this season, having scored 14 goals in 11 Bundesliga games.

This comes at a time when French striker Karim Benzema is facing an unpredictable future at the Spanish club due to his recent off-field problems. Romours in Spain suggest that Madrid could release Benzema and sign Lewandowski as his replacement for the 2016-2017 season.

In a recent interview, when Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Cucharsky was asked about the rumours linking his client to the Spanish giants, he told Marca

"You cannot deny that there is interest from Real Madrid."

Lewandowski has been breaking records ever since he arrived at the Allianz Arena from fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund

Lewandowski has since dismissed the claims and insists that he is still a Bayern Munich player. However, there have been several media reports suggesting that the Poland international has been secretly attending Spanish classes ahead of a possible move to the Santiago Bernabeu. The 27-year-old faced his latest suitors back in August during the Audi Cup final at the Allianz Arena when he scored a late winner to help Bayern win the pre-season cup.
