The PSG striker made some audacious remarks ahead of Saturday’s Euro 2016 playoff.

He has won three consecutive Ligue 1 and Trophee des Champions titles, one Coupe de France crown, and has become PSG’s all-time leading goalscorer in the span of three years, but has this all gone to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s head?

Maybe so. With Sweden set to lock horns with Denmark in the Euro 2016 playoffs this Saturday, the 34-year-old talisman made some audacious remarks, claiming to have put French football on the map since arriving in Paris in 2012.

With a spot in next year’s continental tournament, being held in France, at stake, the former AC Milan forward also admitted that playing in the upcoming Euros is a goal of his.

"I would love to play at the European Championship in France," said Ibrahimovic.

"I have played there for four years. I have put Sweden on the world map and now I have put France on the world map too."

Zlatan has registered 119 goals since arriving at Parc des Princes, netting 9 in 11 games this season alone. He is also his nation’s record scorer, with 59 goals in 109 appearances.

However, with the Swede at 34, the clock is ticking on his glorious career. Nonetheless, the player believes that he is yet to show sign of old, with his current form is taken into consideration.

"I have better statistics than before,” Ibrahimovic added.

"So if I'm old and getting weak and still doing what I do, imagine if I was good and young. What I would do then?"

Zlatan will be hoping to steamroll past Nicklas Bendtner and Co. in what could be the player's last shot at silverware with his national side.
