The Portuguese manager has been struck by a series of bad luck this season after losing seven games out of 12 in the Premier League. Interestingly, this was Chelsea’s third loss in a row, something that has never happened under Roman Abramovich’s leadership at the club. The Blues are yet to give an official statement about the future of the ''Special One’’ at the club, but several media reports suggest that he could be fired before their next Premier League fixture.
His old foes, the likes of former team doctor Eva Carneiro and Inter Milan player Arnautovic have come to haunt him after partying ways with each other. Barely two weeks ago, Eva's lawyers hinted at presenting a case in court on behalf of their client who had allegedly been unfairly dismissed from her duties by Mourinho. On the other hand, former Inter Milan forward Arnautovic came back to haunt his former boss by scoring the only goal of the match to hand Stoke City a 1-0 victory over defending champions. The former manager of the Nerazzurri had once decribed the Stoke City forward, who was part of his team back then, as having ''the atititude of a child.''
Chelsea’s ship seem to sink deeper towards the relegation zone every weekend and football fans are not giving the embattled manager a break on social media. From memes to vines, Mourinho and his men have been trending on social media almost every weekend. Here is a collection of some of the most hilarious vines and shocking statistics from social media after Arnautovic’s goal that increased Mourinho’s chances of being fired from the Stamford Bridge.
