Chelsea fans should brace themselves for another four years of Jose Mourinho’s reign as the club manager.

The controversial tactician recently revealed that he had no intentions of leaving the Stamford Bridge not until 2019 when his contract ends. This comes just a few hours before the Premier League champions face Dynamo Kyiv in their Champions League fixture on Wednesday.

The latest rumours from the Cobham Training Center suggest that there are some players who would rather lose a match to ensure the Portuguese loses his job at the club. With pressure mounting from both internal and external sources, the hard-talking tactician could be in for yet another tough week at the club.

The Blues are suffering from a series of poor performances, having lost six and won just three of their 11 Premier League matches this season. They now sit at an embarrassing 15th position in the domestic league. In the Champions League, Mourinho’s men are third in Group G after winning only one of their last three matches.

During the pre-match conference, when a journalist asked the embattled coach about whether he had discussed his future at the club with club owner Roman Abramovich, he answered, ''I don’t have to answer you if I was with the owner or not.’’

When asked about how long he was planning to stay at the west London side, he replied, ''Four years. In this case, three years and seven months."

Mourinho’s woes at Chelsea have increased after former team doctor Eva Carneiro revealed that she would be filing a personal legal claim to the Portuguese tactician for mistreating her at the club.

The English giants have been linked to top tacticians such as Bayern Munich’s Pep Guardiola and their former manager Guus Hiddink. Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is also a potential candidate for the top job at the bridge should Mourinho fail to register impressive results in the coming matches. However, the Premier League side could still terminate his contract as soon as Wednesday if he fails to register a convincing win against their Ukrainian opponents in the Champions League.
