Ramos got injured against Shakhtar on September 15. He did play in the first leg of the group stage against PSG.

Some good news for Real Madrid and its fans going into the game against Paris Saint-Germain is that Sergio Ramos and James Rodriguez will be available. The star defender is in the tail-end of his recovery process from a shoulder injury suffered against Shakhtar Donetsk on September 15.

Ramos Loves Big Games

In the last 49 days, Ramos has only suited up for three big games. He was called to play against PSG on the road and also when Real Madrid played Atletico Madrid and Celta Viga in the domestic league. In other low-key matches, Ramos has been benched and rested so that his shoulder can heal faster.

In Madrid's most recent win in La Liga, Ramos did not participate in order to be ready for this game in which they host Angel di Maria and company. The center-back has been fully committed to his team when they need him the most. Madrid's center back could have easily decided not to play, but he has claimed that he has no intention of missing big games.

The team has manged to survive without Ramos

Ramos does not want to miss important games at all costs

During the current UEFA Champions League season, Ramos has played in two games, featuring for a total of 149 minutes. In La Liga, he has only participated in five games out of the ten that have been played for a total of 439 minutes.

James Rodriguez is Back

The Colombian midfielder who was a sensation in his debut season with Real Madrid is also ready to make a comeback against PSG. Rodriguez was included in Rafa Benitez 19-man squad and while it is still unclear how many minutes he can play, it is possible to see him in action at least like a substitute.

He got injured early in September while playing for Colombia. That means that he has yet to play a single minute of Champions League action this season. He has missed eight out of the ten La Liga games so far this season. In the first two, he had already scored twice and had one assist under his name.

"The team is doing well, but I am convinced that they will improve. I want to see the best team when we are competing for titles," Benitez said in a press conference prior to the big game.

Madrid's boss was clear about James' situation

In his debut season with Real Madrid, James was very clear that Madrid made the right move by signing him. In 29 La Liga games he scored 13 times and had the same number of assists. In UCL action, James scored once in nine games before Juventus knocked them out.

The 24-year old player is happy to be back

During their recent game at Parc des Princes, Ramos claimed that the scoreless draw was a good result for his team. Right now, both teams are still undefeated with seven points each after three games. Ramos, 29,player wants to help his team win and even out the victories between them and PSG (1-2-2).

The other star that will be returning for this game are Keylor Navas. Navas was given a break against Las Palmas to recover from a minor injury. Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema are the big names absent from Benitez' list as they recover from their respective injuries.
