The Special One believes that the referee was afraid of calling a penalty on their favor. He is currently trying to appeal a £50,000 fine from the FA.

Jose Mourinho will not stop talking about how he feels towards referees but this time he was more conscious about his choice of words to describe a mistake made by the official during the game between Kyiv and Chelsea. An uncalled penalty had Mour furious so he decided to imitate Arsene Wenger when judging the call.

"The referee was weak and naive. Big penalty," Mourinho said to BT Sport after the game. "The referee didn't see it? The referee decided not to give it?"

Wenger may not care about what Mou has to say

Those same words had previously been used by Arsene Wenger in a game between Arsenal and Chelsea where the Gunners dropped points at Stamford Bridge last month. That time, Wenger was judging referee Mike Dean. The French manager did not receive a sanction for going against the officials after the game.

Just a few days ago, the FA fined Mourinho with £50,000 for using negative remarks against an EPL referee, claiming that he was afraid of calling a penalty in favor of Chelsea. The same type of situation which Mou had to explain to the media in today's game against Kyiv.

He went against more than only one person

Mourinho is currently appealing that fine and expects that there are no repercussions after judging Damir Skomina, Tuesday's game referee. He also admitted that he liked how Skomina managed the game except for that call that may have been the difference between winning and the actual outcome of the match.

"I think the referee was very good. I'm serious," Mourinho claimed as the team was able to get their first point on the road in the competition.

Now, Chelsea has four points after three games. They are in third place of group G and will face Kyiv again in their next game when week four rolls around. That game is scheduled for November 4 at Stamford Bridge.
