CR7's penthouse apartment in New York will be used for a Martin Scorsese's new film called The Manipulator. Ronaldo won't appear on the film because of orders from the person that the film is based on.

As a public figure, Cristiano Ronaldo has to play an insane amount of games throughout the year, plus attend special events organized by the club or by his sponsors in order to earn as much money as he does. This time, all Ronaldo had to do was say yes to Martin Scorsese's request to use his flat in New York.

Ronaldo agreed to the producer's request and in exchange he has received €20million. As part of the deal, he was also offered a cameo appearance in the film but that won't be happening now. The man that the film is based in, does not want CR7 to steal the show of the new movie "The Manipulator".

A few extra bucks won't hurt the 4-time Golden Shoe winner

Alessandro Proto, has great respect for Ronaldo and everything he has accomplished. At the same time, he pointed out that during the talks to get Ronaldo's flat, the idea of giving the Portuguese striker a role in the film was not included.

"Ronaldo is a great player, but that doesn't mean he is the king of the world," Proto said. ""I am sorry if he doesn't feel valued, but in life you win some and you lose some. If I really have to give him €20million, I will give it to him with my own hands."

Proto is actually the man that Scorsese's film is based on. Part of his life has already been depicted in a very famous book "50 Shades of Grey". All that the Italian millionaire wants from Ronaldo is a clean apartment by the time Scorsese's cameras start rolling.
