Sanchez contract with Arsenal does not expire until 2018. Sanchez scored 25 goals in his first season with the Gunners.

Reports coming out of Spain claim that Real Madrid is already looking to add another powerful striker to its lineup with the name of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean star that scored a brace in Chile's 4-3 victory over Peru could be back in La Liga before his contract with the Gunners expires in 2018.

According to Don Balon, the bid to reel in Sanchez back to Spain would be of an amount close to £37.3m. Some see this as a possible replacement to Cristiano Ronaldo for whenever the Portuguese striker decides to leave.

Some people don't see the fee as a reasonable amount

In order to make the deal more enticing for the London-based club, Denis Cheryshev could be swapped to Arsenal. The 24-year old attacking midfielder is in his first season with the club and has only played 20 minutes this season in two games. Most of his action comes with the Russian national team.

Arsenal fans really like Alexis

At the same time, Arsenal is working with Alexis' agents to create a new deal for the Chilean player and former Barcelona striker. The deal would make Sanchez the highest paid Gunner, a position that right now belongs to Ozil. The German midfielder, who arrived in London from Madrid, will also have a raise shortly.

We will now have to wait and see how serious can Real Madrid be to bring the man that gave Chile their first Copa America title last summer into their already strong offensive line. If this is true, Sanchez would add his name to the list of close to 20 players that have played for both Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
