The German striker has been linked with a move to Manchester United for quite some time, but he never shared his thoughts about it.

After months of speculation about a possible departure from Bayern Munich, Thomas Müller finally voiced his thoughts about leaving his only professional club to join Manchester United or any other team that requires his services.

Müller spoke with a German newspaper, stating that despite the romantic feeling some fans have about the game, to him it's just like getting to his office.

"You have to look at the complete package to determine whether something is right for you. What's good for you one day will not necessarily still be good for you the day after. In the end, we should not forget that playing football is our job," Müller revealed.

Müller has scored ten goals in eleven competitive matches with Bayern this season.

Further into the interview, Müller shared his thoughts about how Bundesliga clubs may be worried about Premier League sides luring away all their talent, given the astounding wages some of them pay. The idea of joining a new team in England would certainly seduce him, if the price is right.

"I know that a lot of German clubs are unhappy with the Premier League clubs' spending, but I think it is something good for all clubs in the end. Of course, the wages that are being paid in the Premier League are very tempting. It would be hypocrisy to deny that. People should accept that wages will always play a role in a player's decision-making," the German striker added.

Müller has been linked with a big money move to the Premier League, particularly one that would watch him join former boss Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United. Although Bayern's director, Karl-Heinz Rumennigge, has been clear about the slim chances the Red Devils have of signing the striker, the player's wishes could facilitate United's intentions.
