Despite a slow start for La Roja, which even had them risking their presence in the Euro 2016, Vicente del Bosque's men managed to right the wrongs and seal their ticket against Luxembourg, while Spanish fans surrendered themselves to Paco Alcácer's antics on the pitch.
Alcácer substituted Alvaro Morata before the first half of the game ended, and he did it with flare. Thirty four minutes after coming on, Alcácer netted his first goal of the evening, puttng to good use an assist by Cesc Fábregas. Thirteen minutes later, Valencia's gem scored his brace thanks to Jordi Alba's pass. Santi Cazorla also scored a brace for the Spanish side, although Alcácer's performance was too good to overloook.
After his show in the city of Logroño, fans are starting to wonder if Alcácer should become a regular in Vicente del Bosque's lineups, demoting Diego Costa to a substitute role. Here's how they reacted to his performance today.

"Paco Alcácer: 6 goals in nine games. Diego Costa: 1 goal in six games. I'm not saying anything, but I'm saying it all. Diego Costa doesn't fit in, Alcácer does."
Paco Alcácer: 6 goles en 9 partidos. Diego Costa: 1 gol en 6 partidos. No digo nada y lo digo todo. Diego Costa no encaja y Alcácer sí.
