After their victory in the 2015 Copa América, Chile will try to prove themselves as a dominant force in South America against Brazil. Don't miss this World Cup Qualifier with our guide below.

Historically, Brazil has always been considered to be far more superior than Chile, but this time around, Chile could have the upper hand against A Canarinha. With a talented squad that recently won the Copa América, los Andinos want to make the most of their home field advantage when they face Dunga's side, who will have to make it through this first matches without their key player: Neymar.

The Chilean side will have all of their key players available to try and defeat the Brazilians for the first time in their last 14 matches, where Dunga's men have accumulated eleven wins and only three draws.

Chile

La Roja will try to start off with the right foot their World Cup Qualifiers with most of the players that won the 2015 Copa América in July. Led by Claudio Bravo, Alexis Sánchez and the return of Arturo Vidal, the Chileans will attempt to replicate what they did last summer, where they only conceded one draw at Estadio Nacional de Santiago, scoring thirteen goals in six matches. Their latest game ended up with a 3-2 win over Paraguay, in which coach Jorge Sampaoli decided to call up a number of players performing in the domestic tournament.

Vidal seems to be fired up for this match.

"Ready to travel and meet up with America's champions! Come on Chile!!"

Brazil

Dunga's team proved that Neymar was key to their survival last summer, since the team was eliminated swiftly once Barcelona's wingman was expelled from the Copa América. Without "Ney", Dunga will have to rely on Kaka's experience, after a last-minute call up. Up front, Hulk's contribution will be key for Brazil's chances, helped by Chelsea's Oscar and Bayern wingman Douglas Costa, who's had a scintillating debut with Pep Guardiola's men.

Center back David Luiz shared a picture of his arrival to Brazilian soil.

"Thank God we got here OK! Now let's go fight!"

Head to head

Chile's record against Brazil is not something to brag about, since La Roja has only won seven games out of seventy played against the Brazilians. Los Andinos won their last match facing Brazil on August 15, 2000, defeating A Seleçao 3-0 with goals by the legendary Fabian Estay, Iván Zamorano and Marcelo Salas. Since then, Brazil has not been defeated by the Chileans in any tournament, and they have eliminated La Roja in the two most recent World Cups: 3-0 in South Africa and a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the 2014 edition that saw the hosts through with a 3-2 scoreline from the spot.
