The Bavarians' president, Karl Heinz Rummenigge, stated that the club will not listen to any more bids made by the Red Devils to sign the 26-year old striker.

Apparently, Bayern Munich is tired of Manchester United's approaches to sign one of their star players. Bavarian exec Karl Heinz Rummenigge stated today that Die Roten are not interested in parting ways with the German striker, no matter how much money the Red Devils put on the table to try and lure him away.

"I am not a banker. We are a football club. That is why we never even considered selling Thomas Muller. I told my colleagues at Manchester United: “I cannot close down my email account, but you no longer need to send me anything. It is useless. We would be out of our minds to sell Müller," the team's exec stated.

Rumors about Müller's future started before the end of the 2014-2015 season, since sources indicated the striker was not comfortable with the way Pep Guardiola coached the team. In fact, the German forward got into a heated exchange during the semi-final match against Barcelona after being subbed off the pitch, sparking all kinds of theories about where he would end up playing.

Nevertheless, Rummenigge's statement eliminates United's possibilities of signing the player in the near future. During the recently started season, Bayern's striker has scored ten goals in all competitions for Bayern, even netting a brace during The Bavarian's 5-1 win over Dortmund on Sunday.

Reports from the UK suggested that Man United would have paid up to 71 million pounds to sign Müller, where he would join former Bayern holding midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger. Whether Bayern ends up giving in to Manchester United's will is yet to be seen, but there seems to be no way for Guardiola's side to end up selling one of their key performers.
