The Saints have struggled to find last year's form, and their Sunday clash vs Manchester United could give them a good boost in case of a victory. All of this game's broadcasting details can be found below.

Southampton and Manchester United will face each other on Sunday, with all the signs indicating a good game in hand. Ronald Koeman's side has not lost in their most recent three games, while the Red Devils will try to show that their recent losses against Swansea and PSV Eindhoven were just a couple of accidents, trying to keep their championship hopes intact.

This meeting between two Dutch coaches who don't have the best relationship could prove to be quite interesting to watch, since both teams have the class and skills to outperform one another.

Southampton

Ronald Koeman's side has been able to keep a clean sheet in the most recent three games, although two of those three games ended up 0-0. Whatever chances the Saints have of shocking United will depend on Sadio Mane's performance, with a little help from Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic, the team's scoring leaders with two goals each.

Fraser Forster, Florin Gardos and Ryan Bertrand are all confirmed absences for the Saints, while there is a slight possibility for Koeman to have Jordy Clasie available for the first time this season.

Man United

The current third placed team in the Premier League had a complicated week after defeating Liverpool last Saturday. Van Gaal's side lost their first Champions League group stage game against PSV Eindhoven, with some defensive mistakes shown during that outing. After starting the season with three consecutive clean sheets, Van Gaal's crew has not been able to repeat those performances recently, giving the Dutch coach more than a headache.

While Phil Jones came back to the team's training sessions this week, his chances of starting the game aren't that good. The only confirmed absence is that of Luke Shaw, who broke his leg during Tuesday's game against PSV. Wayne Rooney is expected to perform after missing out United's two most recent games, but his position on the pitch is yet to be determined, given Anthony Martial's successful debut last week.

Head to head

Southampton took home all the points during their previous meeting, although the Red Devils have not lost any of the previous three games held at St. Mary's Stadium, winning two with the same score line (2-1) and drawing the other.
