The Spanish boss revealed also hinted the game's referee might could have given a penalty after Luis Suarez was tackled inside Roma's box.

After ending their first game of the UEFA Champions League with a draw against Roma, coach Luis Enrique blamed himself for the team's performance on the pitch. Particularly, he took the blame for Alessandro Florenzi's goal, stating that Marc Andre Ter Stegen only did what he asked him to.

"Barça's goalkeeper does his job just like I ordered him. Regarding Roma's goal, I'm the one to be blamed, since I ask my goalkeepers to play like that,"the coach stated.

The former Roma coach also shared his thoughts about how the game should have ended if things had gone their way.

"I think we did a good job today, considering the complications that come when you face a team that defends their goal so well. There's always things we can improve, but I certainly believe we deserved better," Luis Enrique added.

Finally, the manager answered ironically a question about the ref's performance, following a doubtful action inside Roma's box which could have given Los Blaugranas a shot from the spot.

"Barcelona not getting a penalty? Don't think that's news anymore," the coach concluded.
