The Portuguese striker scored his first goals of the year against Espanyol, surpassing Raúl as the all-time top scorer in La Liga for Los Blancos.

Cristiano Ronaldo's scoreless evenings came to an end today, after the Portuguese striker stormed the pitch of Power8 Stadium. CR7 scored a hat-trick during the first 20 minutes of the game, leading Los Blancos to a 4-0 lead against Espanyol in the first half. 

With his three goals, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Raúl as Real Madrid's all-time top scorer in La Liga games. He is just seven goals shy of becoming the all-time top scorer in all competitions.

Ronaldo's first goal came just after seven minutes, putting to good use a marvelous pass from Luka Modric. 

CR7 scored his second goal after Gareth Bale was brought down in the box.

The Portuguese striker scored his third goal following a left footed cross by Gareth Bale.
