Juventus' No.10 revealed in an interview that, although Chelsea and PSG presented bids to sign him, he chose to continue with La Vecchia Signora.

Even after becoming one of the most followed players in the world, Paul Pogba had one thing clear: he did not want to leave Juventus. According to the French midfielder, teams such as Chelsea and Paris-Saint Germain wanted to lure him away from Juventus, but he decided against it to try and lead La Vecchia Signora to European glory.

"Why would I not stay? I didn't have any motive to go. It wasn't the right time. It was never clear that I would leave and there's no reason I can't continue here for longer. Let's see,"Pogba stated.

The 22-year old midfielder played 41 games for Juventus last year, scoring ten goals and handing out ten assists. Nevertheless, he hasn't been able to help the bianconeri during their two losses this season.

Even though reports came in stating that Pogba's days with the team were about to end, Juventus' director Guiseppe Marotta denied such claims, stating that the club could not afford losing that much talent during a single summer.

"We've lost the likes of Pirlo, Tevez and Vidal, three irreplaceable players, against our will and replacing them isn't easy. As we want to win, we have decided to keep hold of a player as important as Pogba, although we have had offers from some very important clubs," Marotta stated.

Juventus will try to end their losing streak this Saturday, when the bianconeri host Chievo.
